Fats: The Singing MC
Reese basslines you’re likely to come across, all accompanied by the legendary MC Fats – the singing jungle MC. I first came to know Fats from his MCing alongside GQ at AWOL – some of my favourite mixtapes from around ‘93-’94 have him singing along to killer jungle, and he’s still strong on the scene, MCing raves (he toured Japan and USA a few years back) as well as featuring on D’n’B tracks.
